Life is but a stopping place, a pause in what's to be,
A resting place along the road to sweet eternity.

We all have different journeys, different paths along the way;
We are all meant to learn some things, but never meant to stay.

Our destination is a place far greater than we know,
For some the journey's quicker, for some the journey's slow.

But when the journey finally ends, we'll claim a great reward,
And find an everlasting peace together with the Lord.

It is always sad when we hear one of our own has passed on.  This page is dedicated to those who are no longer with us.  May they look down upon us, and know they were loved...that their friendship meant the world to those of us who knew them best...and that we'll always carry the memories of good times and those great friendships in our hearts.

From Patti (Knevitt) on June 10th, 2010
Donna "Mac" was a very kind and happy person.  I knew her since 1st grade and although we had lost touch after graduation, she attended our 20th reunion and told me she was so glad she did because she was having a great time.

After writing some nice words in my Reunion Memory Book back in 2000, she ended her paragraph with "See ya in five!"  Also in our Memory Book, she listed her "Future Plans" as: "To see the Seven Wonders of the World before I'm 70."  Sadly, cancer took her at the age of 42.

Rest in peace, Donna.

From Cindy Gendrich on June 7th, 2010
I remember playing ping-pong in our basement rec room with Donna on a million occasions. She could hit that ball harder than anyone I ever knew--and could arm-wrestle any guy under the table. I loved Donna--such a great, strong spirit. It's awful to know the world won't have her big laugh, her kindness, and her strength any more.  But how lucky we were to know her!

Jacqui, I remember when you started spelling your name that way.  I have fond memories of you and your sisters; always coming by our house before going to school and all the sleep overs we had.  You are and will be missed!  Until I see you on the other shore....

I didn't know you left us... how sad!  My memories of Shawn go way back and after graduation.  She's at peace!

From Helen (Smith) Forbis on July 27th, 2010
Shawn, I had no idea that you'd left this world and I'm sad to hear that.  You were so much fun at Glen Flora and you were also conveniently located right across the street from the school.  I still have a picture of you from Glen Flora School.

Image It was such a shame when she passed away. She was a great friend and I have never forgotten her over the years.

From Patti (Knevitt) on June 10th, 2010
I remember Rhonda as a soft-spoken and calm person, most often with a big smile on her face.  We hung out for awhile but had lost touch with each other when I heard she was in an accident and had not survived; I was devastated.

Rhonda, I hope you're smiling down on us knowing that you are still in our hearts and will never be forgotten.  Peace my old friend.
