After graduation, I lived in Chicago briefly before moving to the DC/Virginia area for 22 years. Married my college sweetheart and had one son who is now 27 and just married his college sweetheart this May in the Basilica at Notre Dame.
We moved back to South Bend, IN 14 years ago when my husband switched from being a lawyer to a professor and I spent eleven years as the Associate Director for Advising in the Mendoza College of Business at ND. Since quitting my day job, I do a little writing (children's books and the occasional blog) and host a podcast called The Open Book Test where I interview my former business students to help teens navigate the big decisions around majors and careers. I have one published chapter book called Ready, Regan? that helps K-3 graders understand and incorporate the growth mindset into their day to day lives.
During football season we run an informal B&B hosting college friends and family since we live only 6 blocks from campus. It's a broken business model since we don't charge our guests but we absolutely love the company. Go Irish!
Our son and his wife just moved to Indy where she's doing her residency in orthopedic surgery and he's a brand analyst and we could not be more delighted that they are Hoosiers again!

Since the last reunion I got married to my girlfriend and best partner in life. Married for 6.5 years now and we like to travel, enjoy the grandkids and take them with us and the family to northern Wi. in summer.
Golf, travel and enjoying life to the fullest. As we all know without our health it does not mean a thing, so enjoy it now and that is what we do.
I've been in the insurance business first full time job out of college and Nationwide Insurance-JIm Kelly Agency was formed about 24yrs ago and very blessed. My wife and I don't mind to work but we love to travel and have fun together and love our ranch home(no more stairs).

I married a year after high school, had a daughter and son, then divorced after 14 years. I married again in 2004, after being together for 8 years, and we've been together 25 years now.
I have two step-children, and all four of our kids were in high school at the same time which was fun...and interesting!
I obtained my BA and for over 25 years worked mostly on ISBE projects: working with children with emotional/behavioral needs, providing training to educators, and then serving as a Training/Event Coordinator. I now work on the admin side of a national project that provides PBIS/MTSS training to schools in Illinois and nationwide.
We live in Gurnee.

Along the way Jake was born in 1995 - Jamie 1999. Since 2002 i have been at Quest Software where i am in Technical Pre Sales specializing in Application Performance, Virtualization & Data Base solutions. After graduating from NIU, I was busy raising my two children who are now 26 & 28. I spent over 18 years working for Cardinal Health (formerly Baxter/Allegiance) until December '09 when my position was eliminated. My position at Cardinal was what transferred me from the Gurnee/Waukegan area out here to the Columbus, OH area almost 12 years ago. Because I really enjoy living here I found another job here in Columbus working for the corporate headquarters of Safelite Autoglass. I left Safelite in June '13 and then became a contractor at Honeywell Aerospace until early August '15. I've been working at Hikma Pharamaceuticals as a Buyer/Planner since Nov '15. However, my greatest joy over the last couple of years was becoming a Grandma. My grandson, Colton, is now 6 and my granddaughter, Rylee is 4. I got married to my wonderful husband, Steve Ricci on 3/31/17. We are enjoying and tackling life's journey together with God's guidance. I look forward to see where God will take us. I love the longer warmer seasons and the shorter, less harsh winters here in Columbus, OH compared to back in Waukegan.
Enjoy variations of swing dancing & some ballroom dancing, which I do several times per week.

I went to college after I had my kids and graduated with a Bacholors degree in Finance and work in Treasury at Abbott Labs for the past 10 years. We still reside in Waukegan in the home we bought in 1983.

I did the factory thing for about 4 years....not for me, nor was college. I was indoctrinated into IBEW Local 150 in my early 20s.... it was the 2nd best choice I made as a young adult. The trade has treated me good, as well as my previous wife. Got out of the party scene in my early 20s as well, this by far was the best choice.
I have been in several business ventures, sold everything in 2002 and moved to LA....this was the worst choice I made...not for me!! There is nothing like Midwest people. Not long after my return to IL. I licensed down in Chicago and built condos during that whole craze...seen things swinging south in the market and folded another business. I have enjoyed being fortunate enough to travel, have nice homes the toys and all that other crap, but having had all that and now living pretty simple I live a much more stress free life, I have been very involved in raising my son, who is 9 and making sure my footings are always sound. Yes I did start late, I have another son due in October...very excited about it. Babies room is almost done..then what the list will never end....enough said Went to see Mr. "C" last year down in TN. He was my woodshop teacher for 2 years. I have since revitalized my woodshop, and have turned out a few very fine pieces of furniture. Oh traveling is on the list, ya I like to cook. Being involved with my boys acedemics, sports etc. but most of all just being there for him! Send Bob a Message
